You can easily view the details of your ANZ Online Investment Account. They consist of an account summary and an investment details summary.

  • The account summary includes details on your balances and the date you opened the account.
  • The investment details summary shows the investment units allocated and the unit price.

To check your online investment account details:

  • Go to the "View Accounts" landing page.
  • This is the first page you see when you log on to ANZ Internet Banking.
  • If you cannot locate it, go to the "Accounts" menu and select "View Accounts".
  • Select your investment account by clicking on the account name.
  • Go to the "Account details" tab.

Please note that the account details you'll see will be specific to your account type. We've listed some of the account details below but there may be more or less details displayed, depending on the type of investment account you have.

Account summary

The account summary section displays details that are specific to the account that you have selected.

  • Account name(s): displays the full account name of your account.
  • Product type: displays the account type you have selected to view.
  • Account number: displays the BSB number and account number for your account.
  • Current balance: this is your estimated account balance and is not a precise reflection of the current value of your investment. ANZ updates your balance daily, based on the previous trading day. It does not include any accrued management fees owed to ANZ that have not yet been deducted from your investment.
  • Available funds: this is an estimate of your current redemption value based on the previous trading day.
    • You can request to withdraw up to the amount shown via ANZ Internet Banking.
    • However, the current redemption value will only be determined at such a time as when you choose to withdraw and subject to the prevailing circumstances on that trading day.
    • It does not include any accrued management fees owed to ANZ that have not yet been deducted from your investment.
    • For more information on how ANZ calculates and updates your estimated account balance, refer to the Product Disclosure Statement.
  • Deposits: is the total value of transfers into your ANZ Online Investment Account for the current statement period.
  • Download transaction history: allows you to download details of your investment transactions in a CSV file.
  • Opening date: the date your ANZ Online Investment Account was opened.
Investment details

The investment details section shows your holding of investment units and the latest unit price.

  • Investment units: this is the current number of investment units you hold in the ANZ Online Investment Account.
    • It is updated daily and represents the unit holding as at the previous trading day.
  • View transaction history: allows you to search for transaction by date range.
  • Transfer funds: allows you to deposit or withdraw funds from your account.
  • Unit price: this is the estimated dollar value of one investment unit, based on the closing market price from the previous trading day.
    • As such, it serves as only an estimate and does not represent the current value of your investment.

  • View account details: displays detailed information about your ANZ Online Investment Account.

You can view the details of your investment account on this page. This page consists of an account summary and an investment details summary section.

  • The account summary includes details on your balances and the date you opened the account.

What is the difference between my available funds and my current balance?

How can I deposit funds in my ANZ Online Investment Accounts?

Deposits can be made to your ANZ Online Investment account in the following ways:

  • transfer funds from any ANZ account by using ANZ Internet Banking
  • by arranging an automatic deposit
  • in person at any ANZ branch
  • by arranging electronic credit via another bank or financial institution
  • by using another bank or financial institution's Internet Banking
  • in person over the counter at another bank.  

Deposits received by ANZ prior to 12.45pm (AEST) on a full share market trading day are generally processed that day and reflected in your account on the following day.

Once the money is deposited in your account and is invested, it is no longer held on deposit by ANZ.

  • As a result, the ANZ Online Investment Account is not covered by the Federal Government guarantee or depositor protection under the Banking Act 1959.
How can I withdraw funds from my ANZ Online Investment Account?

Withdrawals can only be made via ANZ Internet Banking as a transfer to your nominated ANZ account.

  • Withdrawal requests received by ANZ prior to 12.45pm (AEST) on a full share market trading day are generally processed that day, with the proceeds of sale being made available in your nominated ANZ account the following day.
When are deposits and withdrawals processed on ANZ Online Investment Account?
  • Deposits to or withdrawals from the ANZ Online Investment Account that are submitted prior to 12.45pm (AEST) on a full share-market trading day are generally processed that day and reflected in your account on the following trading day.
  • After 12.45pm (AEST), or at any time on a weekend, public holiday or a partial trading day, such deposits or withdrawals are generally processed on the next trading day and reflected in your account on the next trading day after the processing is done.
