Donate to charity

• A list of all our charity partners displays.
• Click on a particular charity partner link if you want to read more about them. A new page will open with more details.
• Click on the "Continue" button on the bottom right hand corner of your page to make a donation.

You must be registered for Pay Anyone to donate to charity and your daily limit will apply.

• From account: select the account you want to make the donation from. Any donation from a credit card will be treated as a cash advance.
• Select charity: select your preferred charity, using the drop down list.
• Donation details: fill in your name and the amount you want to donate, using a decimal point, if applicable.
• The name you insert here will appear on your lodgement receipt, which you will need to retain for tax purposes.
• Click "Submit".

Review all your information on the "Charity Donations - Review Request" page. If information is incorrect it may result in the wrong charity receiving funds.

• If you notice any mistakes click "Back" on the bottom left and repeat steps 1-3.
• When you are happy with the information entered click "Confirm". This will complete the transfer and a confirmation message will display.

ANZ Internet Banking for Business Operators can click on the "Request authorisation" button to submit the charity donation to the relevant Authoriser for approval.

• Your lodgement receipt is displayed to confirm that your transaction has been submitted successfully.
• This does not mean the transaction will be processed successfully as that is dependent on the details you have entered being accurate, and on funds being available for the transaction to occur on the set date(s).
• Please make a note of the receipt number and lodgement number for your own records.

• Your donation will be processed by way of an "on-line" direct debit payment from your account.
• Donation payments submitted before 6.00pm (AEST) on a bank business day will be processed on the same day.
• Donation payments submitted after 6.00pm (AEST) or on weekends or public holidays will be deducted from your account immediately and will be processed on the next bank business day.
• The time that it takes for the charity's account to be credited will depend on the policy and systems of their bank.

At ANZ we're all about making things convenient and simple for our customers.

• This service allows you to easily donate a specific amount of money to your charity from your linked ANZ accounts.

There are over 700,000 not for profit organisations in Australia, so the selection of our partners was not an easy task. The charities selected by ANZ represent a broad range of causes, each as worthy as the next.

Our charity donations program uses ANZ Internet Banking's existing Pay Anyone system. ANZ is the facilitator for the transaction between you and your nominated charity and your funds are transferred straight from your account directly to account of the charity.

• As with the current Pay Anyone functionality, you will receive a lodgement receipt page with the lodgement number and the receipt number for your transaction to confirm the payment.

Generally, gifts of $2.00 and over to deductible gift recipients (including eligible charities) are tax deductible.

• We recommend that you print and retain a copy of your ANZ Internet Banking lodgement receipt for tax purposes.
