Order a replacement statement

Need to investigate a transaction on your cheque or savings account but can't find your paper statement? You can easily order a replacement statement online. 

To do this:

  • Choose the specific period of time that you require the statement for.
  • Then choose if you would like it faxed or mailed to you.

To order a replacement statement:

  • Go to the "View Accounts" landing page.
  • This is the first page you see when you log on to ANZ Internet Banking.
  • If you cannot locate it, go to the "Accounts" menu and select "View Accounts".
  • Select your cheque or savings account by clicking on the account name.
  • Click on the "Order a replacement statement" link at the top of the page and follow the steps below.
Step 1 - Fill in your account details
  • Choose the account you would like a replacement statement for, by using the "From account" drop down list.
Step 2 - Fill in the statement period details
  • Enter the start and end date for when you would like the statement and if possible the statement page number.
  • You can enter up to three statement periods.
Step 3 - Select a delivery method

You have two options:

  • Delivery by fax: select the fax radio button and then enter your fax number, or
  • Delivery by mail: select the mail radio button.

You should make sure your postal address is up to date before you submit your request. If you are a business customer, make sure your business postal address is up to date.

Step 4 - Fill in your contact details
  • Enter a preferred and alternate contact number in case we need to contact you regarding your request.
Step 5 - Submit your request
  • Click on the "Submit" button when you are happy with your request.
  • A receipt will display to confirm your submission.
Important notes
  • You will need to allow at least three bank business days for requests to be processed.
  • If you choose to have your statements mailed to you, please allow additional time for postal delivery.

What are replacement statements?

Replacement statements are copies of your account statements which have been issued in the past.

  • These statements are usually issued upon customer's request for various reasons.
  • For example, misplaced statements or for tax purposes.
Can I order replacement statements for all my accounts online?

No. You can only order replacement statements for certain cheque and savings accounts that are linked to ANZ Internet Banking.

  • The "Order a replacement statement" link only appears for valid accounts.
Is there a fee for a replacement statement?

No. Currently there is no fee for issuing a replacement statement.

Can you email the replacement statements to me?

The replacement statements cannot be emailed.

  • They can either be posted to the address that we have on the file for that particular account or faxed to a number you provide us.

You can register eligible accounts for online statements, which remain available via ANZ Internet Banking for up to seven years from the date of registration.

Can I use online statements to get a replacement statement from the past?

Once you register for online statements you will only receive them from that point onwards. You cannot use online statements to find statements from a period before you registered.

  • Replacement statements can only be issued as paper statements for your eligible accounts.
