Change my Pay Anyone access

Pay Anyone is an easy way to transfer money from your account to someone else's account. You can change your daily Pay Anyone limit or remove your access to this functionality at any time.

  • Remember, if you remove your access you will no longer be able to transfer funds to someone else's account in this way. 
  • You will also lose your payee list with all of your saved recipients' details. 
  • To re-gain access you'll need to register again and re-enter any previously saved payee details.

Can I remove my Pay Anyone access?

Yes. You can remove your Pay Anyone access via ANZ Internet Banking.

  • If you remove your access you will no longer be able to transfer funds to other Australian financial institutions using ANZ Internet Banking.
  • You will also lose your payee list with all of your saved recipients' details.
  • To re-gain access you'll need to register again and re-enter any previously saved payee details.
How do I change my daily limit?

You can change your daily limit by via the "Change Pay Anyone Access" link under the "Internet Banking Settings"section of the "Update details" menu.

  • If you are lowering the limit or removing it completely, once your application is lodged, the new limit is effective immediately .
  • If you are increasing the limit, once your application has been processed, you will receive a confirmation letter in the mail with an action number and instructions on how to reactivate Pay Anyone with your revised limit.
  • Your action number must be activated within 28 days of placing an application.
How long does it take to change a daily limit?

The time taken to change the daily limit depends on the type of limit you have requested.

  • If you are applying for a $1,000 it will be processed and activated immediately.
  • If you are decreasing or removing your Pay Anyone limit it will also be processed immediately.
  • If you are increasing your limit, you will receive a confirmation letter in the mail within five bank business days after you have lodged your application.
  • The confirmation letter will include an action number and instructions on how to reactivate Pay Anyone with your revised limit.
  • Your action number must be activated within 28 days of your application.
