Nina Aguas is the Managing Director of ANZ Private Bank, Asia Pacific and is responsible for the private banking franchise in the region, leading an experienced team in driving transformation and growth through design and execution of a range of strategic business actions. Nina joined ANZ in 2009 as Managing Director of Retail Bank, accountable for the business in Asia, executing our country franchise plans and leveraging on ANZ’s partnerships. She also led the Retail Due Diligence team to review RBS businesses across 10 countries.

Prior to ANZ, Nina was at Citigroup for over twenty five years in critical management positions including MD and Head of Corporate Centre Compliance, New York, Country Business Manager, Global Consumer Group, Philippines as well as Regional Head, Audit and Risk, Asia Pacific.

Nina is a seasoned financial services veteran with a proven track record over more than thirty years across consumer and private banking in functional and business leadership roles. Her experience covers global firms across the Asia Pacific and the US involving franchise development, strategic change management, business re-engineering and business performance.
