ANZ in Hong Kong

ANZ first established its presence in Hong Kong since 1970 and is fully committed to the market. As one of the two regional headquarters in Asia, the remit for ANZ Hong Kong has been connecting customers with trade and capital flows between Hong Kong and our home markets of Australia and New Zealand, as well as creating business opportunities by providing extensive experience and deep insights in sectors such as Financial Services, Resources, Food & Agribusiness, Infrastructure, Technology, Property, Transport & Logistics.

ANZ’s presence in Hong Kong remains a pivotal part of ANZ’s broader Institutional Banking strategy – supporting our customers’ domestic requirements while connecting them with close to 30 markets across Asia Pacific, Australia and New Zealand, Europe, America and the Middle East. We will focus our business in Asia on Institutional Banking where we are ranked as a top seven corporate bank, according to Coalition Greenwich, with a significant presence in more than 10 markets in the region.

With both onshore and offshore RMB trade and investment capabilities, ANZ Hong Kong is well positioned to help our clients take advantage of further liberalisation of RMB and ANZ’s Institutional Banking strategy, linking business opportunities in Greater China and across Asia Pacific.

In the community

ANZ Hong Kong is committed to our purpose – to shape a world where people and communities thrive. We are passionate about contributing and giving back to the community and creating positive energy on social, economic and environmental factors.

ANZ's flagship financial inclusion program, MoneyMinded, is implemented in Hong Kong to help participants understand the fundamentals about money management to improve their financial literacy and confidence.

We are also passionate about promoting equality, inclusion and career advancement, advocating sustainability and advancing our green footprint, and serving the Hong Kong community through different volunteering activities.
