A CSB savings account is required. The annual percentage rate does not take into account your required deposit. Your savings deposit will be held as a security and unavailable for withdrawal as long as the credit card account remains open or has an outstanding balance after it is closed. If the credit card account is a joint account, the savings account must also be a joint account. Balances held in savings will earn interest.
