Norman Wilson
CEO Pacific Central Region and General Manager Fiji
Norman Wilson assumed the role of CEO Pacific Central Region and General Manager Fiji for ANZ in October 2009.
Mr Wilson has more than 35 years international banking experience across numerous countries including Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Indonesia. Most recently, he was CEO New Zealand for HSBC.
As ANZ’s CEO Pacific Central Region, Mr Wilson is responsible for the leading bank in the Pacific across Fiji and Kiribati and is also the Chairman of ANZ Pacific Operations, based in Fiji. He will oversee more than 900 staff. Mr Wilson is presently Chairman of the Association of Banks in Fiji and President of the Fiji Institute of Bankers and represents both ANZ and the industry as a committee member on several commercial and industry associations. He was born in Northern Ireland, educated at Methodist College Belfast and is a fellow of Finsia, the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
Mr Wilson reports to CEO Pacific, Michael Rowland, based in Melbourne.
