
Head of Commodities and Industry Research, Melbourne
Mark Pervan is ANZ’s Head of Commodity and Industry Research. He has been involved in the research of Australian listed mining companies and global commodity markets for the past 15 years. His role at ANZ is to set the strategy and price forecasts for the metal and energy markets.
Prior to joining ANZ in August 2007, Mark worked for nine years as the Australian resources analyst and global commodity strategist for Japanese Investment Bank, Daiwa Securities SMBC. In his last four years with Daiwa he was Australian Head of Research. Prior to Daiwa, he worked for four years with ABN AMRO as the bank's Australian gold and metals mining analyst.
Mark grew up in New Zealand, graduating from the University of Victoria with a double major in Finance and Economics.
