Pre-authorisation allows for the placement of cardholder funds on hold for a pre-determined time, giving you the option of completing the transaction at a later date.

Simple to set up and manage
When a purchase is made, a customer's card details are checked and the purchase transaction is authorised as normal, but the transaction is set to a 'pre-authorised' status. Funds are placed on hold, and the money is not debited to your account at this point, but held until final payment is processed.
