Q. Who can access the company accounts to make transfers or payments on behalf of a company?

A. Company representatives that have been nominated as value authorised agents can access pre-determined functions within specified accounts.

A company will request value access for company representatives who are signatories to company accounts. Authorised value agents are able to make value transactions, view account balances and view the transaction history of an account. Authorised non value agents will only have access to account balance and transaction history enquiries.

Q. Can ANZ eBiz be used to make payments to accounts at other banks?

A. Yes, ANZ eBiz has a function called ANZ Pay Anyone that allows payments to accounts held with other local in-country financial institutions.

Q. Is there a maximum amount that can be transferred between accounts?

A. There is no limit on how much can be transferred between accounts that have been linked to ANZ eBiz.

However, each registered authorised value agent (company representative who is a signatory on the account) does have a pre-determined limit that they can transfer each day for all types of transactions.

There is also a maximum amount that is equivalent to AUD25,000 when transferring to a third party.

Q. What type of ANZ accounts can funds be transferred to and from?

A. Company representatives can only transfer funds to and from accounts that have been linked to ANZ eBiz. These accounts are listed in the drop down boxes within Everyday Banking. Some accounts may not appear in the Transfer from box but appear in the Transfer to box. For example, you cannot transfer funds from the wages account however you can transfer funds to the wages account.

Q. Which accounts can bills be paid from?

A. Bills can be paid from any account linked to ANZ eBiz provided their currency is in the local currency and there are sufficient funds available.

Q. Can a payment be made to a Biller who is not on the BillPay List?

A. No, if the Biller does not participate in the BillPay scheme, a BillPay payment cannot be made using ANZ eBiz.

Q. How many days does it take for a payment to reach a Biller?

A. In normal circumstances, funds will reach the Biller’s account within 4 working days from the date the payment is made in ANZ eBiz.

Q. Can a funds transfer or transaction be cancelled?

A. No, a funds transfer or transaction cannot be cancelled after the transfer or transaction has been submitted (confirmed) while a scheduled payment can be cancelled from the Standing Order Screen.

For transfers between accounts linked to ANZ eBiz, the funds can be transferred back into the original account.

However, if the transfer was to a Biller the Biller would need to be contacted in order for suitable arrangements to be made.

Q. Can a periodical payment be set up?

A. Periodical payments are referred in ANZ eBiz as Scheduled Payments. You can make a scheduled payment from the Funds Transfer and Pay Anyone screen.

Q. What is the cut-off time for ANZ eBiz transfers?

A. Funds transfer between accounts linked to ANZ eBiz accounts are completed immediately 24 hours 7 days a week assuming there is no disruption to the system.

The following requests are processed the same day if received by the cut off time.

If these requests are not received by that time, the transaction will be processed the next business day. For information about the cut off time, contact the Call Centre.
