Phil Haynes
Country Head and CEO of ANZ Cook Islands
Phil Haynes is Country Head of ANZ Cook Islands, managing the full banking operations which include International & Offshore Banking, Foreign Exchange Services, Retail & Commercial Lending, two branches, four agencies and an extensive ATM and EFTPOS network.
Phil has been with ANZ for 14 years and spent most of his career in ANZ Corporate Banking, Sydney before moving offshore to join the ANZ Asia Pacific team. Phil spent three years in Vanuatu as Head of Lending prior to his appointment to his current role as Country Head in the Cook Islands. During his time in Corporate Banking, Phil held various positions including Relationship Manager and Manager Marketing and Business Development. During his three years as Manager Marketing & Business Development, Phil was successful in refinancing a number of well known corporate companies across to ANZ.
More recently, Phil together with his team have grown the business to now be the largest bank in the Cook Islands.
