Prior to completing the Corporate Solutions Enquiry Form, please read the below Privacy
Clauses carefully. ANZ takes its obligations under the Privacy Act seriously and the clauses
below detail how we will deal with personal information you provide to us via
the Corporate Solutions Enquiry Form. If you are making an enquiry on behalf of a company,
please read Section 1. If you are making an enquiry on your own behalf, please read Section 2.
At the end of the clauses, please click the box to indicate that you have read and acknowledge the
Privacy Clauses and you will be taken to our Enquiry Form.
If you are a company then:
by completing the Corporate Solutions Enquiry Form (the "form"),
you agree and consent to the following matters.
The words "we" and "us" are used in these privacy clauses to mean ANZ and each and
every one of its related companies (including subsidiaries), whether acting collectively or alone.
If you supply us with personal information about an individual,
you agree to tell that person that:
- We are holding personal information about that person and he or she can contact
us at any of our branches;
- Personal information collected about that person will be used for the primary
purpose of assessing the form and, if requested, providing information to you on
a range of corporate financial services and that without that personal information,
this purpose cannot be fulfilled;
- Personal information collected about that person will usually be disclosed
to any of us and to the following types of organisation:
- other organisations with whom we have arrangements or alliances for the
purpose of promoting and/or carrying out our functions in relation to
our respective products and services (and any agents used by us
and our business partners in administering such an arrangement or alliance);
- our agents, contractors and external advisers who we engage to carry out our
functions and activities from time to time or who assist us to carry out our
functions and activities;
- your agents, including your finance broker, your stock broker and your
legal or financial advisers;
- regulatory bodies, government agencies and law enforcement bodies; and
- other parties we are authorised or required by law to disclose information to.
- That person has the right to access and correct personal information we hold about him or her.
If you are not a company then:
by completing the Corporate Solutions Enquiry Form (the "form"),
you agree and consent to the following matters.
The words "we" and "us" are used in these privacy clauses to
mean ANZ and each and every one of its related companies (including subsidiaries),
whether acting collectively or alone. So, for example, where you are
agreeing that we may collect, use or disclose your information for a stated purpose,
you are providing your consent to each of these companies individually as well as collectively.
The words "your information" are used in these privacy clauses
to mean personal information about you that we obtain from you or from any one else,
regardless of how or when it comes to us.
- We collect and will collect your information primarily for the purpose of assessing
the form and, if requested, providing information to you on a range of
corporate financial service. You agree and consent to us using and disclosing
your information for this purpose.
- You also agree and consent to us using or disclosing your information for
each of the following additional purposes:
- considering any application made by you to us;
- helping us to develop and identify products and services that may interest you;
- tell you about products and services (unless you have asked us not to)
or recommending financial investments;
- maintaining our relationship with you;
- conducting market or customer satisfaction research;
- performing our internal administration and operations including accounting,
risk management, record keeping, archiving, systems development and testing,
credit scoring and staff training;
- compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements;
- prevention and investigation of crime or fraud to protect your interest and our interest;
- developing, establishing and administering alliances and other arrangements with
other organisations in relation to the promotion, administration and use of
our respective products and services.
- Collection of your information is essential for us to service both your relationship
with us and our business operations. Without your information that we request
you to provide to us, we would not be able to provide you with our products and services.
- We will usually disclose information of the kind that comprises (or will comprise)
your information to any of us and to the following types of organisation
(including individuals):
- other organisations with whom we have arrangements or alliances for the purpose
of promoting our respective products and services (and any agents used by us
and our business partners in administering such an arrangement or alliance);
- our agents, contractors and external advisers who we engage to carry out our
functions and activities from time to time or who assist us to carry out our
functions and activities;
- your agents, including your finance broker, your stock broker and your legal or
financial advisers;
- your executor, administrator, trustee, guardian or attorney;
- regulatory bodies, government agencies and law enforcement bodies; and
- other parties we are authorised or required by law to disclose information to.
Subject to any restrictions imposed on us by the Privacy Act 1988, you agree and consent
to any disclosures by us of your information to an organisation of these types for any
of our purposes listed above. Some of these organisations may be overseas.
You agree that we may transfer your information to an overseas organisation even
if that organisation may not be subject to the same privacy obligations to you as we are,
but we may only do so for one or more of the purposes set out in these privacy clauses.
- Subject to the provisions of the Privacy Act 1988, you may access your information at
any time by requesting to do so at any ANZ branch or by contacting your
ANZ Relationship Manager. A reasonable fee may apply for this service.
If you are able to establish that your information held by us is not accurate,
complete and up to date, we must take reasonable steps to ensure that the information
is accurate, complete and up to date.
- Where any of your information that we collect about you is sensitive information
(such as information about health status, membership of a trade union or political association),
you nevertheless consent to its collection by us.
- If you supply us with personal information about another person, you agree to show them
a copy of these privacy clauses and to tell that person that:
- we are holding personal information about that person and he or
she can contact us at any of our branches;
- personal information collected about that person will be used for the
primary purpose set out in these privacy clauses and that without
that personal information, this purpose cannot be fulfilled;
- personal information collected about that person will usually be
disclosed to third party organisations described in these privacy clauses; and
- that person has the right to access and correct personal information
we hold about him or her.
- As a valued customer, we may contact you from time to time about products and services of ANZ,
its subsidiaries and corporate partners that may interest you.
