Upon arrival in Australia you will need to bring your passport and other identification documents to the nominated ANZ branch to comply with the identification requirements, as well as to collect and activate your bank account debit card. The letter sent to you by ANZ with your account details will provide you with further instructions on which ANZ branch to visit.
When visiting the branch you will also need to bring proof that you arrived in Australia less than six weeks ago. Your passport or the boarding pass from your flight should be sufficient.
Our staff will then unlock your account and you will be able to access your money on the following business day.
