ANZ has extended Community Giving to our shareholders, with the Shareholder Dividend Charity Donation Program.
The program gives ANZ shareholders the opportunity to donate some or all of their cash dividends to one of 30 not for profit partners.
The program has been developed by the Company Secretary's Office (CSO), working closely with Computershare, ANZ's share registry. According to John Priestley (CSO), "ANZ is the first Australian company to offer its shareholders a program like this, where shareholders can choose from a list of charities".
The Shareholder Dividend Charity Donation Program is open to all shareholders who are Australian-resident taxpayers and who receive a cash dividend in Australian dollars. This program is a powerful way for a shareholder to contribute to charities that they value and have that contribution matched by ANZ. Our community partners are:
