Welcome to our online switching service

We've made it easier for you to switch your regular payments to your new ANZ account. It's simple, just follow the steps below and we will automatically generate letters for you to send to the companies you have your regular payments with. We've even tried to find their address for you!

What do I need before starting?

a. An ANZ personal or business account...

Personal accounts

ANZ personal transaction account - if you don't have one you can open an ANZ personal account online or call 1800 008 177 (8.00am - 8.00pm AEST, Monday to Friday).

and/or

ANZ credit card - if you don't have one you can apply for an ANZ credit card online or call 13 33 33 (8.00am - 8.00pm AEST, Monday to Friday).

Business accounts

ANZ business transaction account - if you don't have one you can open an ANZ business account online or call 1800 801 485 (8.00am - 8.00pm AEST, Monday to Friday).

and/or

ANZ business credit card - if you don't have one you can apply for an ANZ commercial card online or call 1800 032 481 (8.00am - 8.00pm AEST, Monday to Friday).
b. Details of your regular payments (for example your telephone bill, electricity bill, gym membership details, share dividend statement).
c. Your new ANZ account / card number.
d. Your old bank account / card number.

Just follow these simple steps...

1. Fill out your bank account details (old and new account).
2. Identify the regular payments set up on your old account (eg direct debits, direct credits, salary) and create a ‘Contact List' (companies you wish to notify).
3. Print, sign and send the letters that are generated, to the companies you have nominated.
