Microsoft releases updates to the Windows XP operating system. These updates are called Service Packs and contain all the fixes and enhancements that have been made available in the previous year. The latest Service Pack for Windows XP is Service Pack 2 (SP2) and includes information about a feature called Pop-up Blocker. |
When you install SP2, 'Pop-up Blocker' is turned on in Internet Explorer and the Filter Level is automatically set to the medium setting. This means it will block most automatic pop-ups but you will still be able to view the Internet Banking log on page.

Open Internet Explorer.
On the Tools menu, point to Pop-up Blocker, and then click Pop-up Blocker Settings.
