Over the next five years, we will significantly increase our ANZ branch network across Asia, which means we'll be able to bring our innovative range of retail products and services to even more customers throughout the region.

Our products and services include:

  • Account services
  • Deposits
  • Payments
  • Personal lending
  • Credit cards

Following are some of the key roles within Retail:

Branch Manager

Providing outstanding and consistent advice and customer service, you and your team will always take the time to get to know your customers and their personal financial circumstances - particularly when they are new to ANZ. Based on what you learn about each customer's requirements, you'll then recommend a package of relevant ANZ products that best serve their needs.

Your role as leader will be critical. You'll be flexible with the changing needs of your branch, proactively identifying and addressing any areas that require improvement. You'll run your business to deliver outstanding results across all key dimensions - revenue growth, growth in loans, NPAT growth, customer acquisition, productivity, ethical standards, legislative requirements.

It will also be your responsibility to lead and inspire your team, providing excellent support and training, while maintaining open communication at all times. That's why, in addition to proven experience in retail banking and a thorough understanding of banking products, and front and back office processes, you'll need first-class management skills. The ability to develop your team is just as important as your ability to deliver effective sales strategies.

Assistant Branch Manager

As an Assistant Branch Manager your role is to be second-in-charge to the Branch Manager and to contribute to the achievement of branch business objectives. Your role will involve acting as a senior referral point for sales and services staff or more complex customer interviews and transactions. You will also be responsible for developing staff, maintaining quality services levels and ensuring you and your branch are compliant with ANZ's policies and procedures.

You will have involvement in the branch business planning process and provide proactive support to the Branch Manager in addressing any business operational or people issues on a day-to-day basis.

You will achieve this through your main responsibilities:

  • Customer relationships
  • Branch sales and service out-performance
  • People development
  • Operational excellence
  • Teamwork and continuous improvement

Teller

ANZ's Retail banking business is a fast-paced, customer driven environment, with a strong focus on lending and inspiring staff to achieve remarkable results. You will deliver sustainable revenue growth by deepening customer relationships, contributing to a high performing team and consistently having effective customer interactions that result in high quality solutions for the financial needs of our customers.

As a Branch Teller your role is to meet customers' financial transaction needs and contribute to branch performance to out perform business objectives. You will maintain quality service levels, spot and refer sales opportunities and ensure that you and your branch are compliant with ANZ's policies and procedures at all times.
