 ANZ MatureChoice Home Insurance

Avoid underinsuring your home. ANZ MatureChoice Home Insurance includes Full Building Replacement on TotalCover and TotalCover Plus options. This means your building will be re-built to its current size and standard in the event of a total loss, irrespective of the sum insured.

Building Insurance

TotalCover and TotalCover Plus (with Full Building Replacement)

TotalCover (listed events) and TotalCover Plus (accidental damage) can help you avoid being underinsured.

When you take out Total Cover, we automatically calculate the replacement value of your building at today’s prices (called the 'sum insured'). TotalCover will cover any damage or loss to your building including full building replacement in the event of a total loss. This means that we will replace your building in full, even if the replacement costs exceed the sum insured at the time of the total loss.

TotalCover Plus provides all the benefits of TotalCover, plus cover for any accidental damage or loss to your building.

MatureCover and MatureCover Plus (excludes Full Building Replacement)

When you take out MatureCover (listed events), you must nominate the replacement value, called 'sum insured', of your building at today’s prices. MatureCover will provide cover for damage or loss to your building up to the sum insured.

MatureCover Plus provides all the benefits of MatureCover, plus cover for any accidental damage or loss to your building.

Contents Insurance
Depending on your needs you can choose either:
  • MatureCover (Listed Events) or
  • MatureCover Plus (Accidental Damage).

MatureCover (Listed Events)

  • MatureCover offers the cover you need to give you peace of mind. This cover includes protection against loss or damage of contents due to the events listed in the product disclosure statement such as fire, theft and storm damage, while at the location shown on your schedule.
  • Your contents are also covered away from the location shown on your schedule for up to 120 consecutive days, anywhere in Australia, for all the listed events except theft.
  • MatureCover offers new for old replacement on your contents items regardless of age
 

MatureCover Plus (Accidental Damage)

  • MatureCover Plus offers comprehensive protection for your contents. Your contents are insured against events such as fire or burglary as well as many accidents (including the red wine spill on your carpet).
  • Your contents are also covered away from the location shown on your schedule for up to 120 consecutive days, anywhere in Australia and New Zealand, for all listed events - so if your new bike is stolen at the park, it's covered.
  • MatureCover Plus offers you new for old replacement on your contents items regardless of age, so if your 20 year old TV is stolen, it will be replaced with a new one.
