Send money overseas
There are three convenient ways in which you can send your money overseas:
ANZ Internet Banking ANZ account holders can send telegraphic transfers and order foreign currency drafts through ANZ Internet Banking by clicking on the International Services tab.
ANZ Phone Banking Simply call 1800 352 535 8.00am to 8.00pm EST, Monday to Friday, to talk to an ANZ international payments specialist about sending international telegraphic transfers over the phone. Please note that the cut-off time to send telegraphic transfers is 6.30pm AEST. This service is also only available to ANZ account holders residing within Australia and New Zealand

Visit any ANZ branch.

Sending International Telegraphic Transfers

To send an International Telegraphic Transfer, you will need to provide the beneficiary's name, address and account number and the beneficiary bank details
(including full branch address or the SWIFT BIC code).
For payments to Europe and the UK, you must also provide an IBAN
(International Bank Account Number).

Receiving International Telegraphic Transfers

To send a Telegraphic Transfer from an overseas bank to your ANZ account in Australia, you will need to provide your overseas bank with your ANZ account name; the BSB (the first six numbers that appear before your account number) and account number; and the Australian ANZ SWIFT Code (which is ANZBAU3M). Funds can be sent in a choice of foreign currency or Australian dollars.
