Foodbank Australia is a national, not-for-profit network that accepts donations of food and distributes them to 1,500 accredited agencies, such as the Salvation Army and the Smith Family.
Each day Foodbank helps feed over 20,000 people, making a difference to the lives of those in need in a very practical way.
ANZ has supported Foodbank for a number of years and is in the middle of a five-year partnership to provide $200,000 per annum to support national and state-based activities.
Our people volunteer time to assist Foodbank in a variety of ways, including packing food for school fruit and vegetable programs and Christmas hampers. ANZ also provides professional expertise by having senior executives on the National and State Foodbank Boards.
