Community

Innovative programs

ANZ is leading the development of a number of programs to improve financial literacy and inclusion in Australia. In particular we are focusing on building the financial knowledge, confidence and skills of low-income earners as well as facilitating access to fair and safe mainstream banking products for the most vulnerable. Our programs include:

Saver Plus

Saver Plus is an innovative financial literacy and matched savings program helping families on low incomes improve their financial knowledge, build long-term savings habits and save for their children's education.

MoneyMinded

MoneyMinded is Australia's first comprehensive adult financial education program delivered through community educators and financial counsellors to assist people, in particular those on low incomes, build their financial knowledge and make informed decisions about their money.

Community Development Finance

A $3 million commitment, based on research commissioned by ANZ, to deliver a range of Community Development Finance programs to improve financial literacy and inclusion in Australia, particularly amongst the most vulnerable people and those facing financial hardship.

MoneyBusiness

A partnership with the Australian Government Department of Family and Community Services, to build the financial skills and confidence of Indigenous people at six sites across the Northern Territory and Western Australia, with the aim of providing coaching in financial literacy, budgeting, bill paying and developing savings plans.
