    Business Features ANZ Guarantee

ANZ Multi Payments is a service that allows business customers to make a number of separate payments through a single debit to an ANZ business account via ANZ Internet Banking. You can make up to 10 bill payments or transfers, and add up to 15 'Pay Anyone' transfers at any one time. You can also use the 'Payroll Payments' option to pay up to 15 employees making it even easier to pay your staff.

If you use this service, you will incur an ANZ Internet Banking fee of 20 cents for every credit made to an account, however you will not be charged a debit fee on the paying account. The single debit in ANZ Multi Payments is independent of fees applicable to linked accounts, so the debt will not count towards the free transaction limits on those accounts.

Authorised Users with the appropriate access level can use Multi Pay Bills and Multi Funds Transfer. As they cannot access Pay Anyone, they cannot use Multi Pay Anyone or Payroll Payments.

When you use ANZ Multi Payments, the account statement will show the total amount debited from the linked account and the receipt number, but will not specify details relating to the crediting of those funds to each of the other accounts or billers. You can reconcile the debit amount on the account statement with the information appearing on either the lodgement receipt page, or the Payroll Payments receipt page at the time of the transfer, or under the ‘Past Payments/Transfers’ function once the transfer or payment has taken place.

To meet the needs of our business customers, ANZ Internet Banking gives you the flexibility to pay suppliers and contractors - in fact, anyone - directly into their account. As an ANZ business customer, you can select from a daily 'Pay Anyone' limit of $1,000, $5,000, $10,000, $15,000 and $25,000.

Please be aware that, for security reasons, there is a delay of approximately 2-5 days between applying for and receiving a higher Pay Anyone limit.

Bank Cheques Online provides the ability to purchase a bank cheque via Internet Banking. Simply enter the details of your payment and a bank cheque will be posted directly to the individual or business you wish to pay.

ANZ Internet Banking allows you to grant other parties involved in your business access to your accounts. You can give your accountant, bookkeeper or office manager different types of access to your accounts. You can choose from two options:

    • 'Value Access' allows your nominated user to operate and transact on all of your linked ANZ accounts in the same way that you can, excluding 'Pay Anyone'#. Value access is not available if two or more signatories are required on the accounts you wish to link to ANZ Internet Banking.
    • 'Non-value Access' allows your nominated user to view, but not transact on all of your linked ANZ accounts.

International Services allows you to transfer funds overseas via telegraphic transfer and to purchase international drafts (similar to a bank cheque but payable in foreign currency) through ANZ Internet Banking. To use these services, you need to have Pay Anyone Access and must then register at the International Services page located in the left-hand navigation menu of ANZ Internet Banking.

Business customers can make payments directly to the Australian Tax Office via ANZ Internet Banking. Using the 'Tax Payments' option in the left-hand navigation menu, customers can lodge up to $100,000 in a single transaction. It's just like paying a bill online.
