    Key Banking Features

The 'Balances and Transactions' page is the first page you will see when you log on to ANZ Internet Banking. It shows the current balance of all your linked ANZ accounts including ANZ Access and Savings Accounts, ANZ Home Loans, ANZ Personal Loans, ANZ E*TRADE Online Investing Accounts, ANZ Business Overdraft Accounts and ANZ Credit Cards (excludes ANZ Business Cards). From here you can also search and view your transactions (up to the last 120 days), view your last three credit card statements and export your transactions into a selected range of personal financial management software packages.

The 'Transfer Between My Accounts' page lets you transfer money between your linked ANZ accounts. You can use this facility to make a payment to your ANZ Credit Card, make extra loan repayments*, or transfer money between any of your linked ANZ accounts to cover cheques or payments that need to be made. You have the option to make an immediate payment, enter a date when you want your payment to be made, or set it up as a recurring payment.

The 'Pay Bills by BPAY' page enables you to pay bills for over 10,000 registered billers via BPAY. Instead of writing a cheque and sending it off in the post, you can use BPAY to pay many of your regular household bills. You do not need to register to use the service, instead all you need to do is look for the distinctive BPAY logo on your bill to tell if it can be paid via ANZ Internet Banking. You can future-date your payments, set up a recurring payment or make up to five transfers and five payments on the one screen with the 'Multiple Payments/Transfers' option. BPAY can also be used to pay your ANZ credit card bill.

BPAY® has a single transaction limit of $50,000 and a daily limit of $75,000. Business customers have an additional limit of $100,000 for payments to the tax office via the tax payments option in ANZ Internet Banking.

'Pay Anyone' allows you to transfer funds to another individual or business with accounts held at most financial institutions. You can make a one-off transfer (either immediate or future-dated) or a recurring transfer. Before you can use 'Pay Anyone' you will need to register to use the service and check you meet the eligibility criteria. This involves selecting your daily Pay Anyone limit of $5,000 or $10,000 for individuals, and $1,000, $5,000, $10,000, $15,000 or $25,000 for business customers (subject to our security requirements).

You can apply through ANZ Internet Banking to decrease your selected daily limit (you cannot select a limit of less than $1,000). The decrease will take effect the next time that you log onto the service.

To register, log on to ANZ Internet Banking and select the ‘Pay Anyone Access’ option in the left-hand navigation menu.

Please be aware that for security reasons there is a delay of approximately 2-5 days between applying for and receiving a higher Pay Anyone limit.

For those who are tired of receiving endless amounts of paper in the mail, ANZ Internet Banking offers the convenience of View Bills.
Using BPAY's new BPAY ViewTM service, participating billers can provide you with electronic access to your bills through ANZ Internet Banking. Once you've registered with your billers, you'll be advised each time you log on of any new bills and, if you choose, you can receive email notification as well.
