The Environmental Finance Committee meets regularly and oversees the development of the policies and tools for identifying and managing social and environmental issues in our Institutional business.
There are instances where particular credit or investment proposals raise sensitive social and environmental issues, which have the potential to impact on ANZ's reputation.
These issues are elevated to the Credit and Trading Risk Committee for advice, guidance and decision. Members of the Committee include the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and senior risk and credit officers.
