ANZ Impact

What is the Graphic Screen?

The Graphic Screen can be used to show the relationship between Business Drivers and Business Results (as well as the Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet items that you have entered into your model).

Knowledge of these relationships can be useful when considering the impact of performing various ‘What-if’ and ‘Goalseek’ actions.

Note that the Graphic screen focuses on the Business Result, Return on Capital Employed (ROCE)%. At the present time, this is the only Business Result item that you are able to undertake a graphical analysis on.

How do I access the Graphic Screen?

You can access the Graphic Screen by selecting the Graphics icon graphics located in the top menu bar.

What am I looking at on this screen?

The core business relationships are represented in a flow chart. Each cell is colour coded:

  • The blue cells represent your organisation's financial data

  • The white cells represent consolidated financial data

  • The orange cells represent your organisation's Business Drivers (generated by ANZ Impact™)

  • The yellow cells represent your organisation's Return on Capital Employed (ROCE) % also generated by ANZ Impact™

So what does it mean?

Your organisation's financial data links the Business Drivers to the Business Results.

Drivers to Results

The Graphic screen can help you determine

  • which data is responsible for the Return on Capital Employed (ROCE)%, and
  • how Return on Capital Employed (ROCE)% indirectly impacts on a Business Driver.
