In the top right corner of the Loading Screen you will notice a blue
button called "Load New Period". By clicking on this button you will be able
to create a template of blank fields within which you can enter your financial data for
the next financial period of the model that you are using.
For example, you may have 30/06/2001 entered in as your first
period and 30/06/2002 entered as your second period. By then clicking on the
'Load New Period' button, 30/06/2002 and with all its current financial data will be
displayed as your first period. Then 30/06/2003 as you second period, with no entries
against any of the statement items in readiness for you to enter in the data for this
new period.
So that you do not loose any of your historical data, be sure that you
always save your model before selecting the New Period function. That way you will
always have your older historical financial data to refer to if you need to.
The period length of the next period created for you will be based
exactly upon your most recent periods time setting, e.g. quarter, half year, and full
year. (Nb. Your should always have a 12 month period set as your "Previous Period" in ANZ Impact.)
