Terese Salumbides
Country Manager, ANZ Guam, Inc. -  American Samoa Branch

Terese’s appointment as Country Manager ANZ Guam, Inc. - American Samoa Branch began in November 2011.  Terese has a wealth of banking experience, where she has developed skills across a broad range of functions including retail operations, consumer and business lending, sales, marketing, change management and operational excellence.

Since 2008 Terese has been Regional Manager, Governance for the American Territories. In this position, she was responsible for risk and compliance activities for ANZ Guam, Inc.

Prior to joining ANZ, Terese worked for other U.S. banks, savings and loans and credit unions with combined service of 30 years. She has held senior management positions primarily in retail banking and consumer lending.

Terese holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Guam. She is also a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School in Seattle, WA.

Tasi Scanlon
Head of Commercial Lending, ANZ  Guam, Inc. - American Samoa Branch

Tasi is the Department Head for the Commercial Loans Department responsible for managing the business loan department for the territory of American Samoa.

Prior to joining ANZ, Tasi worked for other US banks for more than 20 years in American Samoa. Her banking experiences are in various types of commercial loans from the small business to the corporate and institutional types of businesses.

Tasi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from the Sacred Heart College of North Carolina and is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School in Seattle, WA.

Steve Watson
Head of Asset Management, ANZ Guam, Inc. – American Samoa Branch

Steve is the Department Head for Asset Management responsible for managing the high risk loan portfolio and collection department activities.

Steve joined Amerika Samoa Bank in 1993 as Vice President and Chief Lending Officer and was promoted to Senior Vice President of the bank in 1996.

Since then Steve has held several senior management positions in Credit, Compliance, Business Banking, Mortgages and Branch Management, overseeing both Retail and Commercial businesses.

Steve has more than 30 years experience in American Samoa and has also held several positions with the American Samoa Government, including Chief of Staff to the Governor of American Samoa and Assistant Attorney General. He is an experienced attorney with 19 years practice first in California then in American Samoa.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Southern California and a Juris Doctorate from University of San Diego School of Law.
