Evaluation of programs

Evaluating our community programs

We commission independent evaluations of our community programs, in order to find out whether they are delivering the desired outcomes, and to look for ways to better respond to community needs.

MoneyMinded

RMIT University conducts annual evaluations of MoneyMinded, ANZ's adult financial literacy education program.

Saver Plus

In 2008, ANZ commissioned RMIT University to evaluate the effectiveness of our matched savings program, Saver Plus, in comparison with similar programs worldwide.

In 2009, we commissioned independent research into the reasons for the success of the Saver Plus program, using behavioural economics as a framework for the analysis.

Progress Loans

In 2007, ANZ and the Brotherhood of St Laurence conducted an evaluation of the pilot Progress Loans program. Progress Loans gives people on low incomes access to small loans to pay for essential household items.
