This unique graduate program will give you the opportunity to experience our super regional culture first hand. Starting in Auckland, you will undertake 12 months of rotations across our Institutional business units then transfer to ANZ China to complete a further 6 months of rotations. On completion of the graduate program you will commence a permanent role in China. ANZ is a vibrant and growing super regional business. This is an exciting time for us as we build a premier bank in the Asia-Pacific region.

To be eligible to apply for the 2016 program, at the time of submitting an application candidates must:
- be a citizen of, or hold permanent residency in, China
- be committed to living and working in China on completion of the graduate program, and desire a super regional career
- be in their final year of university studies (Bachelor degree level or higher) with at least one year of the qualification studied in New Zealand
- have achieved at least a credit result (65%) in your studies
- be available to commence in the program on 1 February 2016 in Auckland.
For candidates holding a New Zealand student visa at the time of application, ANZ will support you to gain a Study to Work (employer assisted) visa for the duration of the programme in Auckland.

The Institutional China Graduate Program is an 18 month structured development program formed of rotations across all business streams:
- Client: Relationship Banking and Client Insights & Solutions
- Product: Transaction Banking, Global Loans and Global Markets
- Enablement: Operations.

For the last 6 months of the program the Institutional China graduates will be based in China and will transition into a permanent role in China.

Stage 1: Online Application
Applying for the ANZ Institutional China Graduate Program is simple. Before you begin your application, ensure that you've got all the required information on hand.
The application form asks you for several written responses, most importantly why you want to work at ANZ.
Stage 2: Online Assessments
All candidates who meet the programme’s eligibility criteria will be invited to complete online assessments.
Stage 3: Assessment Centre
Candidates who reach this stage will be invited to attend an assessment centre. At the assessment centre, there will be a variety of activities, as well as a competency based interview.
There will also be an opportunity for you to learn more about ANZ, and our Graduate Program, via a presentation and from interacting with current graduates and the graduate team.
Assessment centres will be held in Auckland from 25 May 2015.
Stage Four: Offers Made
All verbal offers will be made for the 2016 Institutional China Graduate Program by mid-June.
