Syndication
A syndicated loan is a loan provided to a Borrower by a group of Banks.
A syndicated loan is usually "arranged" by the most senior relationship Bank(s) in the syndicate.
Syndicated loans can be provided in the form of:
1. Club or self-arranged
2. Arranged
3. Arranged and underwritten
With ANZ's syndicated loan, the Borrower can enjoy:
- Negotiating with only the Lead Arranger;
- Having more than one Bank for term debt;
- A loan amount exceeding a single Bank's preferred
commitment level; and
- The administrative simplicity of a syndicated arrangement.

- Convenient and efficient processes where the Borrower
has more than one Bank poviding term facilities;
- Provides a very good platform for increasing debt
facilities at a later date;
- Where a Borrower requires certainty of funding at a specific time the facility can be underwritten by the Arranger(s) and syndicated after financial close.
