Overseas export collection
Looking after your exporting interests
At ANZ, our Overseas Export Collection product is designed to facilitate the collection and return of export proceeds in accordance with the exporter’s instructions. We will act as a collection agent, monitoring the transaction pending payment and receipt of proceeds. This will provide your business with extra time and money to focus on other core activities.
Overseas export collection features include:
- Exporters request ANZ to arrange collection of export
proceeds on their behalf from overseas buyers;
- Relevant export documents, together with an
appropriate Bill of Exchange, are forwarded by ANZ to an ANZ overseas branch
or a correspondent bank in the buyer’s country;
- Documents will be released to the buyer against
payment (D/P) or acceptance (D/A);
- Payment is made to the exporter on receipt of
proceeds by ANZ.
